Job Description
- 37.5 Hours per week on a full-time working basis.
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify
speech, language, and communication needs of
children with autism. - Develop and implement individualized therapy
plans targeting specific communication goals. - Collaborate with families, educators, and other
healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic
approach to care. - Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of
interventions, making necessary adjustments to
therapy plans. - Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical records in
compliance with regulatory standards. - Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and
contribute to service development initiatives.
Experience Required
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Speech and
Language Therapy.
Registration with the Health and Care Professions
Council (HCPC).
Membership with the Royal College of Speech and
Language Therapists (RCSLT).
Proven experience working with children with
autism or related communication disorders.
Strong understanding of evidence-based
therapeutic interventions.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work collaboratively within a
multidisciplinary team.
