Job Description
- 37.5 Hours per week on a full time working basis.
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify
the occupational therapy needs of children with
autism. - Develop and implement individualized therapy
plans targeting sensory integration, motor skills,
and daily living activities. - Collaborate with families, educators, and other
healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic
approach to care. - Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of
interventions, making necessary adjustments to
therapy plans. - Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical records in
compliance with regulatory standards. - Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and
contribute to service development initiatives.
Experience Required
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Occupational
Therapy.
Registration with the Health and Care Professions
Council (HCPC).
Proven experience working with children with
autism or related conditions.
Strong understanding of sensory integration
therapy and developmental interventions.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work collaboratively within a
multidisciplinary team.
